LPC Supervision
The time period between graduation and license acquisition can feel daunting. Finding a competent supervisor who prioritizes client welfare and ethics while nurturing a candidate’s professional development is crucial. Supervisory fit as just as important as the client/therapist fit, as this is a relationship intended to sustain the length of your career.
Working with new therapists to promote learning, confidence, and competence is one of my passions. Serving as a community mental health site director from 2018 - 2023, I identified that helping develop Master’s level interns and providing staff supervision were two of my favorite responsibilities. Now, as a private practice owner, I channel my commitment to nurturing our field by providing licensure supervision. If you are interested in meeting to discuss your supervisory goals and learn more about my approach, please reach out!
